The Sigma Club facilitates the sharing of ideas, interests, and knowledge related to creative reading, writing, and analysis for MUIC students.

Missions

Our club strives to promote the collaboration and integration of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) students from various backgrounds and expand their mindsets as well as skill sets. We plan to do so through unique, theme-based activities for each trimester to increase:

Average reading time
Proficiency in writing and critical analyses
Awareness and knowledge of global issues and literature
Career prospects

Background

The establishment of this club was inspired by Phi Beta Kappa (ΦΒΚ), an academic society in the United States which aims to promote and support excellence in liberal arts and sciences. Our pre-club has remained operational since the second trimester of the academic year 2020–2021.
